Here you can find out interesting activities and places to visit in and around the Silverton Community! Silverton is rich in History, art, and beauty! Historic Downtown Silverton has shops, food, and fun! There are murals all over town that give you a look into Silverton's History. Hand painted by a local artist, there are tours available to see them all! We are a short 6 miles from Mount Angel, Oregon, home of the famous Oktoberfest in September! We are also a short 18 minutes away from beautiful Silver Falls State Park, with trails, day parks, camping, lodging, bike trails, and amazing water falls! Come visit us, you won't want to leave! Silverton Together is a local resource for people who are in need in the Silverton Area! They have fun activities for children and families, including a Holiday craft fair, a school supplies drive, and a coats for kids drive that gives to our community! Silverton Together
Free Community Meal! Silverton currently has 1 free community meal that is served each week! Monday nights are at the Oak Street Christian Church. We invite you to attend one or all of them, and visit with our community members! It is a wonderful gift to have in a small town!
Silverton Area Community Aid (SACA) is available to help local residents with food, utility bill/rent assistance, and also to help people connect to other city/state/government assistance!
Sheltering Silverton is a new non-profit organization in Silverton that collaborates with neighbors and organizations to provide a framework that supports, develops and provides services to, and advocates for our vulnerable neighbors in order for them to transition toward fuller security, stability, and purpose within our community.
